This past Saturday, June 8th, Aymar officially opened the doors of its new winery, located in the town of Vimbodí i Poblet, in the former Sindicato facilities.
Aymar acquired the building in 2022 with the commitment to renovate it and initiate a winemaking project that would contribute to efforts to revitalize the area. The facilities have been renovated while maintaining their essence, but new, spacious, and completely refurbished areas have been added, capable of offering a wide range of quality wine tourism proposals: tastings, tours, vineyard visits, and even private and corporate events.
Regarding production, Aymar will vinify the 2024 harvest in the new winery, which will specialize in still and sparkling wines from vineyards and estates located in the Conca de Barberà.
The Aymar company was founded in Penedès, where it produces wines and sparkling wines with the Clàssic Penedès seal at the Castellví de la Marca winery, “Castell de Pujades.” Now, with the new winery in Vimbodí i Poblet, the company is opening up to new horizons and possibilities, both in wine tourism and in the vinification of different types of wines.
