Description:
You love robust, full-bodied red wines, exceptionally rich in flavor and history. This wine, sourced from the vineyards of Montagudell, located at high altitude in the Prades Mountains, is considered a true rarity in our country as it is made from an unusually unique variety in Spain: Carmenère. This variety originates from Bordeaux and was believed to be extinct in Europe due to the Phylloxera plague in France in the mid-19th century. The slate soils of the Serra de Prades provide it with a particular mineral richness and exceptional depth.
Tasting note:
Intense and captivating cherry color with a persistent tear. Complex aromas of ripe fruit, blackberries, and figs with a balsamic background of mint. Wrapped in tertiary notes of spices and tobacco. On the palate, it stands out for its gentleness and velvety tannins. Persistent finish.
